This beach is popular with locals, so it’s a great place to feel immersed in island culture.
Folkestone Marine Park
Folkestone Marine Park
Folkestone Marine Park features an artificial reef, purposefully formed by a shipwreck. Snorkelers will prefer to swim around the inshore reef found in the Recreational Zone of the Park. This reef is found about one-third of a mile offshore and is home to numerous fish and other marine life.

Located between Speightstown and the turquoise Caribbean Sea, Heywood's beaches make it a good spot for snorkelling as well. Keep your eye out for schools of gorgeous tropical fish. If you’re really lucky, you might even see a Barracuda!
